Design process:
Phase 1: ANALYSIS/DEFINITION
Task definition, nformation gathering, recognition, goals, timing, schedules etc. Competitor and market evaluations.
Define users, functions and components
How, where, when are the product used? Frequence and sequence analysis´s.
Report, sketches
Phase 2: IDEA CREATION
Develop possible solutions to the problem.
Use brainstorming processes.
Sketches and simple 3D models
Phase 3: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Principal structures, packaging studies etc.
Sketches, mock-up models, 3D CAD modelling
Phase 4: DESIGN/FORM DEFINITION
Develope forms and combine aesthetical form, ergonomic form and technical form concepts
Main form definition, details, parting lines, surface textures, product profile, colours, material quality and feeling etc.
Sketches, 3D CAD modelling, 3D printing
Phase 5: CONSTRUCTION
Produce underlay for production.
3D CAD modelling
Phase 6: PRODUCTION
Contribute and give support with production of tools, assembly sequences etc.
Phase 7: CONTROL/APPROVAL
Follow-up production, control and approvals of parts, assemblies and final product.
