THINK public
TH!NK public is a new type of electric vehicle. It is a mix of a very small bus and a taxi you drive yourself on a rental basis. A network of parking stations are established around the city and are dedicated to only TH!NK publics. The compact length of 2.9m prevents most other cars to use the parking stations. The vehicles will be charged when parked. They are shared so registered users with a membership can use them. You can book a car via your mobile phone, internet etc. or just pick a free car from the nearest station. You then drive it to the station closest to your destination. The vehicle can carry 4 people. 3 folding seats at rear gives possibility for a large cargo space if fewer than 4 people are travelling. Versions for delivery services and use on closed areas where also developed.
Stig Olav Skeie was chief designer for the program and designed both exterior and interior of the vehicles.
